Roadie 0 Posted March 18, 2003 Hi All, I'm fitting a new Scorpion exhaust to my C but I need to get a heat protector. All the ones I have found won't fit the shape of the bumper. Any ideas anyone?
G60Jet 1 Posted March 18, 2003 how far does the exhaust site out the back of the bumper, cos unless it nearly the flush you shouldn't need one. Unless your car is a flame thrower!!
endor71 0 Posted March 18, 2003 My scorpion exhaust is a bit close to the rear valence so much so it has melted it's own hole upon touching the bodywork. looks like a custom made hole just the right shape  Only problem is the molten metal has made the "Stainless steel" sort of .... Stained

Roadie 0 Posted March 18, 2003 It's the Scorpion DTM twin pipe which seems like it is going to be touching both sides of the bumper :( I want to keep it looking nice so that is why I want the protector, but because of the shape of the bumper all standard ones are out of the window. Any sheet metal workers around?
