black vw badges were these only fitted to early models?

just a quick question need to know if my 1990 nugget valver is supposed to have chrome or black vw badges from new?

Think it was chrome? Not sure where the black VW badges came from as I'm sure they never went on the Corrado from the factory!

really, they made the correct size rear vw badge in black for the corrado, so you think my nugg originally came with chrome? :shrug:

I'm quite sure all Corrado's came with chrome VW badges front and rear.
