neild92 0 Posted October 15, 2010 Hey folks after a little advice. I have recently got myself a corrado vr6 which i do love but have gotten the chance of an RS6 that i just cannot turn down, Since selling my Rs4 before the summer i have been on the look out for an RS6 and one has come up for sale not far from me. Anyway what i need to know is what kind of price seems fair for a vr6 spec is. 86k on the clock with full service history. 2 owners i think need to check if not its 3. 1994 car L/M not exactly sure until i go to the dvla to register for new registration chains etc just inspected and in great condition by vag specialists 1 yrs mot car still registered in isle of man but getting that changed just now so will come with years road tax i would put up pics but i am offshore and forgot my stick with them on. Dragon green no rust anywhere at all no scratches no dents car completely standard new discs and pads all round standard 5 spoke wheels few marks on them Cloth interior like brand new sunroof and spoiler all work and also spoiler works manually. just had full detail so body is very very fresh. New ignition switch Just looking for a rough guide as to what to advertise it at as alot of the others i have seen have much much more miles but on vag i am not sure if mine being rather lol will make much of a difference Any guidance or help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Neil
sprinterVR6 0 Posted October 15, 2010 well it sounds spot on. Obviously without seeing the car, it tricky to price. But on the evidence of your post, everything sounds in good shape. Mileage is low, FSH (although recent post suggests FSH don't mean shiite anymore  ) I'd feel a hell'uva lot better if it was there though :? I'd be looking at sticking a low 3k figure, maybe 3250pounds  best a luck mate :salute:
neild92 0 Posted October 15, 2010 Yeah i was thinking around £3500 mark to begin with not desperate to sell but it would make financing the RS6 alot easier Will get some pics up when i get home next week Cheers
Abdul 0 Posted October 15, 2010 What else has been changed recently in terms of general wear & tear? If i had the cash and it was a colour i fancied i would personally pay 3.5k for it if it is as described.
neild92 0 Posted October 15, 2010 Dont have the paperwork in front of me as i am on the rig but off the top off my head, But when i do decide to put the add up when i get home i will have all the dates and ammounts confirmed Its recently had discs and pads all round Chains inspected by Star Performance vag specialists in Scotland. Full service plugs, filters, leads, oil etc Just getting the new ignition switch changed as i write this as lately there has been issues with the key sometimes not starting it which as you all know is common. Tyres have had about a 1000 miles on them changed them when i got the car brought over here. I run my own detailing company so car has had full machine detail. i am sure there is more its just a pity i never took my stick offshore with the pics of the car and all the paperwork with me :(
davidwort 0 Posted October 15, 2010 does sound very nice, should be able to get top money for it, the sort of car that with the right buyer around at the time could go for over 4K I reckon, nearer 4 than 3 anyway.

neild92 0 Posted October 15, 2010 I am mate.I am one of the forum sponsors Its called Polished Detail in Fife Scotland just a small company as i tried to do it full time but it just was not financialy feasable so i now just do the detailing side when i am not working on the rigs. I have a guy that does the valeting side for me when i am away so it ticks over niceley. I will get the car up for sale when i get home and will start it at the higher end and see how it gets on not desperate to sell thanks for all the input folks :notworthy:
