tony_ack 0 Posted October 19, 2010 Can of de-icer, windscreen scraper and a pair of gloves to keep it cheap. I also carried a shovel in the boot for most of last winter. I'm pretty sure you can get a heated windscreen custom made for your car, but it will cost $$$
Critical_Mass 10 Posted October 23, 2010 As above, I use either cold OR tepid water on the screen. AS even cold water is warmer then the frost/ice - obviously  Keep the wipers on so it doesnt refreeze. Doesnt de-icer damage paint work? The issue i have is the mist on the screen which can take a while to clear, but i dont like wiping the screen on the inside.
mimjed 0 Posted October 24, 2010 what about anti fog spray that people use for bike visors? would that cure the mist problem?
