Marshall936 0 Posted October 28, 2010 Hi, Sorry if its a re-post but i did try and find it with no luck :( Got some rear coilovers to fit to the corrado and was wondering if its a straight forward job or whether anyone had had trouble doing it themselves I've only ever fitted new springs to a mk4 golf which only required 2 bolts to be taken off and put back on :) Thanks. mimjed 0 Posted October 28, 2010 pretty much the same story, one bolt into the subframe and one nut on the topmount. one of the nicer jobs to do. large adjustable spanner is reccomended for the top mount. one of mine was quite siezed.
Swompy 0 Posted October 28, 2010 The rears are easy as anything. its removing the parcel shelf sides that is a pain in the ares. but to remove the orginal rear suspension all you need to do is unbolt it at the top mount (one bolt) and unbolt it from the rear beam (one bolt). Preaty much that straight forward. Dont jack the car up on the beam as you need to be able to flex it to get the shocks off. Hope that helps
