ISV Breather Filter G60

Where can i buy a small filter to fit onto the ISV? Any special filter needed?

Not sure if you can get the filter on its own...If the ISV your after is for the VR6 you can get the ISV round circular section bit from VW for 30 pounds all in. Just ask the parts man to look for the ISV for a VR6 sharan.

egay do plenty of mini filters. just have to measure it up.

 

other option is to feed the boost back in via a silicone hose and a t piece.

Will that ruin the charger just as much as releasing it into the atmosphere?

No it wont ruin the charger, some people say it might put more boost in the engine than can be used, but not had any problems on both my g's.

 

The only problem thats caused is that youre removing some of the oil return pipework to the charger, so youre reccomended to give it a good spray of ptfe lubricant every 1k.

 

Its never straight forward with a g60, so many different opinions on them.

Ok cheers for the info, once i find where to buy a smaller filter for the ISV ill go ahead and remove the boost return

Just search for a Breather Filter, Its either a 16mm or 19mm Diameter you need,
