polskisklep 0 Posted November 20, 2010 Well, my car has been in and out of the garage for a good week or two now because the charger is not working properly. Ive tried many soloutions and i have come to the conclusion that i need a charger rebuild. Its going off to Jabbasport on Monday for a full rebuild and stage 4 upgrade :D which i am very excited about! I hope that when it comes back and i fit it back on itll have charge! Lets keep fingers crossed and hope for the best. If this doesnt work does anyone know any supercharger specialists around the somerset/dorset area? Neokitz 0 Posted November 21, 2010 I would have thought G-Werks would be closer to you than Jabbasport.
polskisklep 0 Posted November 21, 2010 Im just taking the charger off the engine and posting it to Jabbasport. I want to use them because they initially built my charger and also g-werks is a great company, i know Jabba are one of the greats
The_Dude 0 Posted November 21, 2010 If it was my money I'd send it to G-Werks.
polskisklep 0 Posted November 21, 2010 Are g-werks really better? If so, by how much?
The_Dude 0 Posted November 21, 2010 I'm not a G-banger guy but general consensus on here is either G-Werks or JMR for your charger needs. Jabba 's rep hasn't been great of late.
polskisklep 0 Posted November 21, 2010 Thanks for the help mate
Slimg60 0 Posted November 21, 2010 When I still had a charger on mine I used Jabba and they were fine dude. Personnally, I experienced better customer service from Jabba than G werks.
Critical_Mass 10 Posted November 21, 2010 Like anything you hear good and bad things about companies (correction). Havent had a G60 for years but when i did Jabba refurb'd my charger and i didnt have any issues with it. But i know G-Werks are probably the more popular choice. Tbh if i had still had a G id be sending it to G-Werks next time.
BigTartanJudge 0 Posted November 21, 2010 I have used JMR for my last two charger rebuilds / porting. Before that I used G-Werks. It has been said that Jabbasport are concentrating more on big power / 20VT stuff these days, although they have been arounda long time. If it was my money, I would be sending it to JMR who are much closer to you, being in West Sussex :D
polskisklep 0 Posted November 21, 2010 Its a shame JMR dont have a website, it would be cool to see the work theyve done because id never heard of them before the other day

He is 16VG60 on here, top bloke and really knows his stuff about G60's :D
polskisklep 0 Posted November 21, 2010 Ah right, i was searching google for 'JMR' Thanks for the info mate
bristolbaron 10 Posted November 21, 2010 I've never heard anything bad about JMR, but considering i go on more holidays per year with Darren then i do with my wife it would be a bit odd not to use and highly recommend Gwerks!
