Jabbasport

Recommended Posts

Well, my car has been in and out of the garage for a good week or two now because the charger is not working properly. Ive tried many soloutions and i have come to the conclusion that i need a charger rebuild. Its going off to Jabbasport on Monday for a full rebuild and stage 4 upgrade :D which i am very excited about!

I hope that when it comes back and i fit it back on itll have charge! Lets keep fingers crossed and hope for the best.

If this doesnt work does anyone know any supercharger specialists around the somerset/dorset area?

Im just taking the charger off the engine and posting it to Jabbasport. I want to use them because they initially built my charger and also g-werks is a great company, i know Jabba are one of the greats

I'm not a G-banger guy but general consensus on here is either G-Werks or JMR for your charger needs. Jabba 's rep hasn't been great of late.

When I still had a charger on mine I used Jabba and they were fine dude.

Personnally, I experienced better customer service from Jabba than G werks.

Like anything you hear good and bad things about companies (correction). Havent had a G60 for years but when i did Jabba refurb'd my charger and i didnt have any issues with it. But i know G-Werks are probably the more popular choice. Tbh if i had still had a G id be sending it to G-Werks next time.

I have used JMR for my last two charger rebuilds / porting. Before that I used G-Werks. It has been said that Jabbasport are concentrating more on big power / 20VT stuff these days, although they have been arounda long time.

If it was my money, I would be sending it to JMR who are much closer to you, being in West Sussex :D

Its a shame JMR dont have a website, it would be cool to see the work theyve done because id never heard of them before the other day

They do have a website, but it's under construction at the moment:

http://www.johnmitchellracing.co.uk/

Better to give John a call, his number is: 01903 718684 (workshop).

He is 16VG60 on here, top bloke and really knows his stuff about G60's :D

I've never heard anything bad about JMR, but considering i go on more holidays per year with Darren then i do with my wife it would be a bit odd not to use and highly recommend Gwerks!

I dont think James @Sub11 rebuilds chargers, he's a 1.8t expert.
