Sloppy gear lever

You either need the cables adjusting, the guides replacing or the gearbox is shagged, Corrados are know for having a stiff 2nd

Nigel, its not the box, its just the amount of slop. Its not stiff at all (oo-er), so it must the guides then.

 

Have you got the part numbers for the guides?

Do you know how much they cost?

Can you get them at GSF/ ECP?

I would have a garage check the cable adjustment first its easy to get it, the guides are under the car above the zorst

Could I jump on the band wagon here and ask about the guides, bushes etc?? I am wanting to sort my car which has a lot of "play" in the gear shift and I assume there are guides/bushes which need replacement. Anyone know where I can get them etc?

Someone must have re-conditioned their gear shift surely??

 

Anyone have any idea? As for halford... Im sure they do bushes, for a corrado... mmm, now lol
