amje 0 Posted December 12, 2010 Hi all, bit of an issue with my Mk3 GTI the clutch has stopped working. Thinking it was just the cable had snapped when to remove it to find that the small metal tube the cable sits in on the pedal has snapped off instead! The pdeal box looks like a nightmare to remove do you have to take the dash out to remove the paedal box as it all look contected the to the steering column! Any hints/tips/phots would be welcome! dannyboy 0 Posted December 12, 2010 Think your in the wrong forum fellow.....Corrados have hydraulic lines. You dont need to take pedal box off renew the clutch cable ,about half an hour, i assume its one of the self-adjusting type.Renew the cable as the old one will be stretched Is the small piece part of the pedal or is it part of the cable?It would be unusual for the part to break off the pedal Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
