Handling/tyre recommendation

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Following recent handling problems, I have now had a weitec gt kit, new top mounts, new track rods, new rear axles bushes and new wishbone bushes fitted and alignment reset. Things seem much better, just need some bendy lanes to really try it out on the way home!! Just to add the finishing touch, I've been told Uniroyal rainsport 1s give great wet grip and provide good steering precision. I'm thinking of getting these - any thoughts/feedback/alternatives. What sort of cost am I looking at??

Thanks

PS - I'm not as rich as it may appear from the above !!

I love my Goodyear Eagle F1's for especially wet conditions, can be got for less than 50 quid each for 195's, 205's will be a bit more as they're less common.

Mate has them on a Leon cupra, said they improved that car no-end too.

David.
