vr6 clocks

hi can someone show me what a late set of vr6 clocks should look like? i bought a set off ebay it has single plug at the back and a vacum pipe thing (like my mk2 8v gti digifant) also at the front there is a black plastic round bung like thing next to the clock adjustment buttons, do these belong to a vr6?

these belong to "hybrid early/late style" vr6

Pretty sure they're not from a VR.

 

Not sure about the comment on 'early style VR'. Personally I just think they're not for a VR full stop.

12 Gallon tank too but the clue is in the rev counter - they're from a 16V

there were early/late hybrid VR6's as well as g60's and KR's.

 

I've seen KRs with fully late exterior + late clocks BUT early dash and door cards+switches

I've also seen VR's with late exterior + early clocks and interior....

 

no modded at all, they came as is from factory.

 

 

btw a friend of mine owns an hybrid G60 that had full late style exterior, late clocks (with 2 digital screens and speedo driven by sender NOT cable) and early interior (dash, door cards..)

so do late vr clocks have 2 plughs at the back? also do they have the vaccum thing at the back aswel?

Nope. 1 big plug, no vacuum sensor either. Don't think any VR clocks have the vac sensor.
