How original would the exhaust backbox be?

And would the car have been sold originally with those wheels?

If anyone can confirm these two points then I'll accept 2 points in this spot the originality contest :norty: .

Matt - Those wheels were indeed standard on G60s at least. The back box does look aftermarket though. Dont think any OEM exhaust was chromed, plus just the shape of it doesnt look OEM.

Looks as though the Gear knob has been changed, again looks too round for OEM.

That 2 points to me? :norty: :D

Definitely not an original car as most have pointed out. The grille & eyebrow, rear lights, exhaust, steering wheel, side repeaters, mats, are all wrong.

But it does look / sound fairly straight and wouldn't cost a lot to reverse all of those issues if you wanted a properly original car! :)

Ha Ha- if you've looked to buy a Corrado before you'll know that 95% of adverts start

'Classic Corrado- completely original and unmolested'

Followed by-

Lowered, polybushed, bucket seats, strut braces, snap off Momo, boost valve upgrade, superchipped, new wings, bonnet,

air scoop, tints, porsche wheels, 50000mm brakes, ten pot calipers......

and then the top ten favourite-

K & N!

Sound familiar?

Bar the smal changes which as stated as easy to change it looks ok to me...

Steering wheel is a Mk3 Golf item, gearknob is from a very early rado and supercharged badge missing from rear...

Indeed looks a clean example to me. Though the worst part of it for me has to be that steering wheel
