OSV 0 Posted February 1, 2011 I wonder if anyone any more knowledgable than me can help with some information and a valuation. I have a remote control model Audi Quattro which is brand new in the box 1/11 scale. It was manufactered in 1983 and i got it back then as a birthday present and have never used it. Mine has a number 8 livery but is like the one shown here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfmYboy2cZM I thought there may be some specialist interest or market in these things? floppyman 0 Posted July 24, 2011 The earliest Tamiya models, particularly the early off roaders, are now highly sought after by vintage R/C collectors and can fetch prices of up to US$3000 on internet auction sites if still in mint, unbuilt form.(source wikipedia) Depends on the make... But the hardest part is finding the right buyer If you want to sell it just put it on ebay for a large amount of money and make it open to offers
G_Dub 0 Posted July 24, 2011 That is so cool. Sorry can't help with a valuation. I've got an original Tamiya Wild Willy which I'm hoping may be worth some money if I leave it long enough. I bought a Tamiya Hotshot re-release at the beginning of this year for a trip down memory lane. Still lots of fun to build after all these years.
