delfinis38 1 Posted February 13, 2011 (edited) i need to change the bulb that illuminates the cig lighter. i've got the unit out but still can't work out if it's a bulb that i can buy from halfords or it's a new complete unit from VW... the bulb seems to be solid in the holder. I've just bought a new lighter and facia plate from VW but never thought a new bulb was required. Okay just got the bulb out... I guess it's a trip to maplins then a quick solder. sorry tried to delete the post but cant quite work out how. delfinis38 1 Posted February 13, 2011 I've got the bulb out and found a replacement on the maplins website for £1.50. so I guess I'll have a go at soldering the bulb on myself. It's easier than ordering from VW, then taking another trip down to pick the part up in 7 days time.
