Spykee 0 Posted February 22, 2004 Right, after putting everything back together a good few weeks back i have finally got round to moving the car. on turning at the bottom of my drive there was a nasty clicking noise from the left outer CV joint that wasn't just noticable on full lock. it looked dodgy at the time of putting it back on but i just wanted to get it through the MOT and hope that it would hold out till after it when the weather is a bit warmer and i have some more cash. anyway, i have figured that the race has gone on it and just bought this one from GS&F (made by GKN) but the splined section that sits in the wheel hub looks shorter than the ones on the car at the mo by about 10mm from what i can remember. is it just me or does this look different to anyone else out there?? settling my uncertainty would be greatly appreciated before pulling it all apart again, cheers in advance!
