hi 16v back in action

hi ya all

I have just spent a year rebuilding my corraddo 1.8 16v in Helios blue.

now m.o.t tax and goes well with some new boots.

I'm gonna do some track days as I'm close to Rockingham and Silverstone also going to vw shows at santa pod.

My next project for it is a engine conversion.

Wow, i'd love to see a C in helious blue. Is it deffo that colour as that's from a mk2 golf. Sounds like a good build!

the paint is 1990 LA5Y helios blue

sometimes looks purple in bright light and dark gray at night the only panel not original is front n/s wing what was like that when i got the car. I'm looking for one painted in good condition as its not been painted right and started to rust under side light.

I have been going through the cars old paper work from 1992 to 2010 and had a lot done over the years at vw garages and found it has koni de-carbon all-round as they are orange and blue 40mm lower springs i didn't know what make till I seen receipts and toe set-up paperwork.

Defo a C colour Helios - I got an H plate valver in this brilliant colour also!

i have fitted some ebc discs and pads and found top suspension bearing seized so its of the road for a few days.but will be ready for santa pod this weekend.
