Whats involved? do you just slap a bit off zink in a solution and attatch it to a battery? What are you getting for your £1000... Whats stopping me getting a large plastic tub, dropping and electrolite into it and passing a current though some zinc? will that work?? What is the electrolyte you need to use? and is it a simple case of strapping a bit of zinc to a battery and waiting for a day or two?? If it's nothing special why spend £1000? does it regulate the current because i've got a gismo that can do that without spending that much... The rest is just passing a current through the correct materials surely? Or am I missing something? I'd like to think all I need is a plastic tank, some zinc and a couple of car batteries....
