Early leather heated seats

Hi lads just brought some grey leathers of ebay for £200 (good buy) and on the way home i realised when i stopped to get fuel at the sevices that there was a plug on the bottom of the seat which must mean they are heated. not sure what car they came out (16v,g60,vr6) just wanted to know if early and late models had different looms or are they the same and how would i know if my seats were late or early lol.if i had late seats in a early corrado would that mean i cannot have heated seats??

 

lol im baffled.

Hi mate iv had this problem still havent got it sorted but im almost certain that early cars had a four plug connector on the loom and late cars have a six pin connector you will see what i mean if u have a look under the seat

Forgot to add i have a loom for sale thats four pin it has a controll switch but you would have to find the relays for it

the looms new cost a fortune. I ended up making part of it. if your lucky some people come up with these for sale. otherwise making one may be the best bet or ebay uk and germany

i just told you, ebay germany or vw themselfs! ebay uk sometimes has hits. you could try a loom from another vw such as passats of the same era.

 

otherwise keep an on on the classifieds. and maybe put a wanted ad up
