Jim Bowen 1 Posted March 17, 2011 Ever since i've had my corrado my mum talks about this time in the mid-late 80's when my dad was looking for a new car and they were visiting car dealers. She reckons she was in a dealers in chelmsford (on a roundabout?) and she says there was a purple corrado cabrio with cream interior in the showroom for sale. I always tell her it must of been an Audi 80 coupe and just dismiss it. But today my model kit turns up of the zender corrado cabrio and she swears blinds that the car. is this even possible? Pat_McCrotch 0 Posted March 17, 2011 The VW dealer used to be next to the flyover (my own C was registered new there, local car :) ). I thought they only made about 3?
Jim Bowen 1 Posted March 17, 2011 Mum has just said she thinks it was 1991 and a place called Nigel Grogans or something sounding like that  thats what i've told her, that it would of been extremely rare
CazzaVR 0 Posted March 17, 2011 VW never sold any and only made one AFAIK as a concept, which is in the museum. There have been a handful made by the likes of Zender.
