Help me find a garage in Surrey that'll do this work!

G'day,

I've been ringing around a few garages in my area, I'd like some work done on my head. (no jokes please :D ) Basically, I'm after getting the valve guides/tappets sorted - and everywhere I've called has said they wouldn't touch it with a 10ft pole. Is this usual? They'll quite happily jump feet first into a cambelt change @ 3 hours labour, but won't touch this... ...is there something I'm missing? I mean how much hassle is to do this to a head?

If anyone knows of a reasonable place, I'd love to hear - plus has anyone got a rough estimate on how much it might be costing me?

i live in surrey and would suggest a garage if i knew one! Sorry mate but sure someone on this forum will know of a garage.
