8vMatt 1 Posted April 14, 2011 Hi guys, The shell of the breaker is going on monday next week. Before it goes, I wondered which parts would be worth cutting off to help other cars. I'm thinking the rear arches (one potentially is sold), fuel filler area? Rear panel under boot lid and behind rear bumper. Sills? So, what else should be saved? Cheers in advance, be good to be able to help out some of the rustier cars out there.
Pat_McCrotch 0 Posted April 14, 2011 Front chassis legs, sections of the windscreen, sills if they are rust-free.
8vMatt 1 Posted April 14, 2011 Front chassis legs, sections of the windscreen, sills if they are rust-free. Hi Neil, Could you elaborate a bit on the front chassis legs please. I take it you mean the A pillars around the screen?
boost monkey 0 Posted April 15, 2011 No dude! Chassis legs are the two rails which run either side of the engine in the bay, where the bumper bolts into! The A pillars are called A pillars :D

The A pillars are called A pillars :D Haha, no sorry I was answering both parts of his suggestion at once. Granted it doesn't look like I was doing that but rest easy, I'm not THAT stupid! I realise what chassis legs are, I was asking about those and leaving a space to ask about the screen without mentioning I was. Now that is cleared up. I've never read of anyone in need of complete chassis legs, so hence my question about them. Cut all or part of them off?
