146 Jockey 0 Posted February 28, 2004 Needle inside the dash is broken I think. The temp sensor on the engine has been replaced and nothing has happened. How easy is it to get at the needle to replace? Cheers, Baz.
h100vw 0 Posted February 28, 2004 Baz, Have you checked the wiring out? Probably easier to swap in another set of clocks. Or get the temp gauge replaced with a secondhand one. Gavin
dubster82 0 Posted February 28, 2004 nah, its a piece o cake. remove the dials. remove two screws to get at dials. pull out gauge. remove needle. remove two screws on face. youll see the needlde is controlled by a lil rod that is in a slot of bi metallic metal. this heaats up and bends, moves the rod, needle goes up. this will of cam out thats all. flick rod back in. re fit. Henny 0 Posted March 4, 2004 yeah, I'd back Dubster82 on this one.... I've got 3 sets of Corrado clocks in various numbers of parts (see group buy on backlit dials for more details! ;) ) and I've had to do that cure several times! ;)
