Temp Sensor

Recommended Posts

Needle inside the dash is broken I think. The temp sensor on the engine has been replaced and nothing has happened. How easy is it to get at the needle to replace?

Cheers,

Baz.

Baz, Have you checked the wiring out?

Probably easier to swap in another set of clocks. Or get the temp gauge replaced with a secondhand one.

nah, its a piece o cake.

remove the dials. remove two screws to get at dials. pull out gauge. remove needle. remove two screws on face. youll see the needlde is controlled by a lil rod that is in a slot of bi metallic metal. this heaats up and bends, moves the rod, needle goes up. this will of cam out thats all. flick rod back in. re fit.

yeah, I'd back Dubster82 on this one.... I've got 3 sets of Corrado clocks in various numbers of parts (see group buy on backlit dials for more details! ;) ) and I've had to do that cure several times! ;)
