Heater sliders rattle round corners

Hi,

 

On my G60 there seems to be something loose on the heater sliders, like everytime i change direction something in that region seems to slide one way or the other. Both sliders work correctly and I cannot see anything loose. Any ideas?

there's little metal clips holding the plastic slider knobs in place, perhaps one of these is loose, also check for anything around the radio case/cage

or it could be coins in the ash tray :)

Hmmm i'll take a gander....defo no coins, got to save all those pennies for fuel lol
