i've got a 1990 16v and i want to fit the newer, flush front fogs and indicators. i think it's possible, does anyone know how much of an arse is it to do?!

remove ol rubbish.

 

knock/cut out panel in bumper.

 

remove rubber grommets in support.

 

fit new stuff.

 

wont take long.

 

best to get stuff from GPC.

can you get clear items to match in-pro rear lights??

If you guys are apart of the yahoo corrado group...john wintle posted a clip of a 16vG60 screaming up a road. In the same directory was a picture of 2 corrados, one was probably the 16vG60 and his indicators and lamps were crystal jobbies.

got it in one.

 

the new fogs are slightly deeper, i persume for the adjuster mechanisms being hidden?

 

and the rubber grommets thing will be obvious. basically, the fogs are supported by 'pegs' that fit into the bumper, closest to the number plate. these are held into the large hole by grommets.

 

newer kit has larger pegs, so no need for grommets :)
