poll250 0 Posted June 1, 2011 I've got a set of Mk3 Golf Recaros in my car at the moment, set up to run on a Mk2 so they sit very high compared to regular Corrado seats, my heads about an inch from the roof! I've put up with it for over a year but I want to do a few track days soon and realised there's no way I'll fit in with a helmet on. I guess it's just a case of cutting the subframe off as high as possible, welding in some flat Corbeau bases that I have, and then weld the 3 Corrado legs on in the correct place? Would anyone on here be able to to give me a hand sorting this out? :)

poll250 0 Posted June 3, 2011 How about adjustable genuine Scirocco MK2 bases, i've used these on Recaros before sit lower, retain adjustment and are OE I think I remember reading something about them. I'll have a search and see what I can find, although I imagine they'd still need welding?
