KADVR6 0 Posted June 25, 2011 had a problem with my wipers since i had the car, they will not go onto intermittent, and will also do not park properly as i have to time it just right on the stalk to get them to rest at the bottom of the windscreen. changed the fuse and the relay, and also cleaned up the connectors on the stalk and they are still not working properly. any ideas please. karl Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Wullie 1 Posted June 25, 2011 Jumping at straws here but from the dim recesses of my memory, is there not a contact in the wiper motor, under the cover plate that controls where the motor stops. mimjed 0 Posted June 25, 2011 mine was doing this on and off for about a year, then the contacts in the arm shorted and started pooring out smoke. new arm and everything was working again. nick somebody elses for half an hour and see if it cures it.
