Wendy 0 Posted July 6, 2011 Do you have discs with the holes in ? If so, when your press the brake is the noise louder and then without the brake on, the same noise but less noisy. A bit of a whoosh sound like air being forced through a gap. If so, it is your brake disks. I have had this since putting on new discs with holes and it is driving me insane. bigt 0 Posted July 6, 2011 i have dimples and slots in my discs that wernt the most expensive ones ie ebay it does get louder when breaking but thought it might be the breaking noise aswell i have spun the wheels jacked up and it does catch the discs as it goes round
dannyboy 0 Posted July 6, 2011 make sure the driveshaft nut is done up on the hub to 240-260 nm. mine done that and had wheel bearing drone noise, because i didnt do the nut up tight enough. Only noticed it when i was getting new tyres put on.
