Alright, few questions about the MFA on my valver.

Firstly, why has it got 2 MFA's on it ?

Also, how do i reset them ?

And why does it say its -40 outside on both of them ?

It tells you the diference in the manual, one resets each journey i think or by holding the button in and the other is on going which you can reset by disconecting the battery

-40, must be a prob with the temp sensor - in the front bumper i think

MFA1 is a single journey memory. If the ignition is switched off for more than two hours then it will reset itself. MFA2 is a total journey memory. It takes into account all the single journey info to calculate its readings. You have to reset this one yourself. To reset them, have the ignition on and move the switch as far as it will go to the left for MFA1 or right for MFA2 and hold it there for longer than one second.

The -40 reading is prob caused by a busted sensor, i dont know where its located, but find and clean or replace it and it should work again.

The outside temp sensor is in the lowest grille in the bumper, on the left hand side as you look at the front of the car... It's on a riveted plate set into that grille... 8)

Check the wiring to the sensor before replacing it, as I've seen a few that have had the wires damaged as they sit so low to the ground and can get snagged on stuff you run over while driving... (branches, rocks, badgers etc... ;) )
