Portent 0 Posted July 24, 2011 My rear VW badge is looking a little tired and faded. I'm considering re-spraying it silver again. How is it attached, what is the best way of removing it without damaging it, and should it be matte silver or chrome silver? Also I'm thinking of replacing my front grille VW badge with a black one. Again what is the best way of removing it without damage? Are they just clipped on or are they glued? Thank you.

delfinis38 1 Posted July 24, 2011 don't waste your time trying to re-spray it chrome... been their and tried it.. the finish / colour from rattle can's doesnt do it justice if you want the OEM look... either source a new corrado one (which are thin on the ground) or buy a new Mk ? 2 golf badge for the rear (i never remember). or just spray it black or a matt colour. the rear badge just pulls out. your need 2 new plugs to re fit the badge.
