it took me 2 1/2 hours to travel from wales to birmingham way and the guy didnt finish work till 7pm

so car was nice n hot. he then tells me the spliiters off as he hit it.

gets in car and he drive it like a boyracer say look it goes very well and saying look 15psi..

i looked and didnt boost over8/9 psi and was very flat.(i was gutted to be honest0

i was expecting a quick car.its deffo not quick

anyway after having a good look at the car and setting on a price i ended up with it,

got it home and put it over my pit i could see he hit the intercooler and had a big hole init

(guessing thats why he sold it.

got intercooler of the bay onits way so should be a lot better then.

the bodyworks very straight for the age, i just done the few dents it had,one one the drivers door

dent in rear under pass side rear light. pass rear arch.and top of pass side wing.

also got a seat base off the bay for drivers seat.

tinted front & rear lights, colour coded front grill.

also got exhaust to fit tidy as was held on with tie clips made up

and also pass side top mount was hanging off.

and this car had a new mot....

got a few bits to come off the bay.inc wheels.in for a re-furb at mo.

Very nice indeed mate! Looks like you're making some good progress in making this car your own. Really like to see a G60 on Sebrings :)

The only thing I'd be thinking about is ditching that cone filter for a standard airbox. General consensus on the G60 is that the cone filters don't filter air anywhere near as well as the standard airbox, and because more debris can get through, it contributes to premature wear of the internals of the charger - which can lead to the charger grenading itself :(

Looking good. Did you get the 90mm splitter? If not then the 70mm spponfed ones may be worth considering as the car looks quite low.

rite time for a update on the raddo. took the charger off as had last rebuild in 2004 by jabba to stage 4

been iching to strip it down to see its looking.the charger always had a little rattle and the rear seal was weaping

but never seemed to loose any engine oil tho. so time to get it apart.

i thought i would have ago myself after lots of reseach on the best parts to get.

so i got all my charger bits off pete and petes threads to change all the bits

its not that hard to do just have to take your time and follow petes thread

hi all. yes i do like the colour. it changes with the light.looks like its black sometimes then goes dark to lighter blue.

i got another front seat to use for bits to make drivers side nice.mint bolter.

also got another cam cover off fleabay, only 99p. gave it the wet n dry treatment then polished on bench drill

came up a treat. cars running sweet now chargers seems to boost well.only taken it to 4rpm tho

getting 10psi before it hits 3rpm then 12psi at 4rpm pulls strong and seams instant soon as you give it some beef

dont seem to get any lag unless in top gear at low revs

Ye the way the colour appears in certain light is great- petrol station lights after a polish are the best!

It is difficult to find lag on a tuned G, it's suprising how they 'kick' if you stamp down on the accelerator.

found a untouched air box & pipe still got the snorkal & paper filter in it.sounds quiet now.

also done the isv reroute.made the car great. 10psi at 2rpm all the way to 15psi at 5rpm.

cant get over how the car drives now instant power from low to high rpm

also fitted a new boost gauge with black face & smoke glass,

goes black when engines off.
