vw_john 10 Posted August 17, 2011 Basically, I need new coilovers and mounts. the guy that sold me the car told me that is was on expensive branded coilovers. turns out there the ****ty ebay jobbys that are rusted to :bonk:. and i'm getting heavy knocking when I hit bumps. hombre_paulo 0 Posted August 17, 2011 Yeah those ebay ones do give a terrible ride quality. you`ll get a lot of recomendations on KW1 (2/3) on here but the do come at quite a hefty price. On a 1st hand note I have Weitec's on my mk3 golf (same suspension) and they ride beautifully despite being fairly low, plus they are probably around 6 years old now and still going fine.
