DANG60 0 Posted August 19, 2011 Hey everyone, I've just recently purchased a por 15 kit. I've got the metal ready the rust prevention paint and chassis cote to go over the top. I've seen their how to guide and looked on here and seen quite a few people recommend it. Tbh the floor is.good on my car on quick inspection its only the places where its been jacked up that the undersea has come off. There is a small amount starting to come through on the filler cap but a tiny amount . The beam and tank are coming out anyway so I will inspect this. I was just wondering what has worked best for people. I was just gonna grind back the individual rust patches on the floor and treat them with metal ready and rust prevention paint and then cover the full floor in chassis cote followed by some black stone chip. The rust just appears to be surface. I'm really just trying to protect it for years to come without going to the extent of removing all the underseal off the car. What are peoples experiences of this and the por15 Cheers.
steveo29 0 Posted August 20, 2011 ive found it be pretty lousey unless its over sandblasted metal , follow the intructions to the letter and dont putting por15 over any existing paint or smooth steel
