Bought one... by mistake!!

Well hello!!

 

So handing my 2011 520d back to the company in sept as moving jobs and needed a new car.... started off with a budget of £10k... and werent sure what i wanted.

 

3 weeks of searching - def on a mazda 6 mps.

 

Then for some reason im on pistonheads... end up looking for mk 2 golf gti's. Then for some reason thought 'oh corrado ... always liked them. lets see'.

 

Then i found one.. 2.0 16v .. white... 54k on the clock.. FSH, all past MOT's .....

 

Went to see it this morning ... and deposit went down :) Paid £2250 - which is prob top end for the car, but its soooo clean.

 

So now... time to find to wash, clay and wax the car on saturday... and then spend some time here learning about the car and finding a new set of boots for it!!

Sounds like a fair price if the car is as tidy as you say, and given that it has that mileage! Look forward to seeing some pictures!

The mistake bit is about to get bigger... new headunit, new amp, components ... all being sourced at the mo.

 

Change of discs, pads and brake fluid next sunday, and new exhaust to go on.

 

All being done but keeping the car as original looking as possible!

Well... car is very well rated... and did something to me not many cars have in the past - made me smile when driving...

I drove nothing but Corrados from 1993 up to 2002........except 6 months with a 911, (sold it and bought another Corrado). All ways missed the 'rado while I was in Oz so as I'm back in the Uk for a while I bought another. Slipped into the drivers seat, fired up the V6 and fell in love again! Oh how I missed them!

Saw this advertised a while back. Glad it's found a home, especially with that mileage. My first rado was a White 2.0 16v so always nice to see.
