<neil> 10 Posted August 21, 2011 Hi folks, trying to sort out insurance for my new 1990 16V, which has a Clifford immobiliser fitted but no idea what model it is. I've no idea about immobilisers so apologies if I'm giving useless information - not sure if it can be identified from visible parts of if they're generic and I need to find the actual control unit. It's pretty basic - key looks like this and photo of front unit is attached. Anyone give guidance where to look for a part number??
Pete 0 Posted August 22, 2011 Not sure but it could be worth having a look here mate to see if any of the instructions for the immobilisers give any pics? http://www.clifford.com/Support/Guides.aspx
<neil> 10 Posted August 22, 2011 Yeah I trawled through those user manuals this morning and think it's probably the AutoImmobilizer - no photos but it sounds similarly basic! Don't know if it's the 2-point or 3-point option but have emailed Clifford to see if they can give me any ideas where to find the control unit...
