Crabapple 10 Posted August 25, 2011 Just a quick update, firstly to say thanks for the warm welcome to the forum (and a brief insight into the 'joys' of TVR ownership) And secondly the good news is that my head gasket is (hopefully) fine. The garage reckon I had a blockage in the cooling system / radiator which has been flushed. The oil leak was from the sump and has also been fixed. I'm a little sceptical as the coolant level is still very up and down when driving but we will see, I asked for a compression test but it wasn't deemed necessary so wasn't done. That just leaves the really rough idle, a noisy exhaust, dodgy fuel gauge and sound system upgrade before he is perfect again. Still it could have been worse...
