manifold where to buy

afternoon all,

 

firstly sorry if im posting in the wrong place, not to sure where best to ask...

 

i need to buy a new manifold for my 1.816v kr rado, im looking for a stainless one as the current standard one now seems to have a huge crack in it :s, im running a 2.5inch bore jetex cat back system, can anyone please suggest where i could get one as i seem to be struggling to find one

I too have been looking but getting a stainless one is a no go i think unless your car is left hand drive. Ashley do a mild steel but i don't know who would stock or supply one?

Are the 16v KR golf manilfolds that much different?

i had an ashley on a mk2 golf, that was a good item. The black paint burnt off quickly though so might be worth treating with VHT paint or wrapping it.

 

I'm not sure if it will fit onto a KR in a Corrado though. It would be worth finding out tbh. I'd like a stainless manifold for mine too.

Ive read that the MK2 ones dont clear the firewall??
