iandavidcassidy 0 Posted March 13, 2004 had zimmerman x-drilled fitted the other day with pagid fast road pads see pic. This was supposed to sort out noise from the wheels. After 20miles i can now see rust coloured stuff on the disc!!! is this normal or is it grinding against something (calipers?) and making the grinding noise? i ve had new bearings too and still the noise goes on please help. cheers Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Chris VR6nos 0 Posted March 14, 2004 iandavidcassidy, Without hearing noises it's hard to tell anything but on the rust topoic, yes this is exactly what happens, the rust on the face of the disc will polish off each time you drive it again but everythinng else gets rusty i'm sorry to say.
