my g60 nightmare!!

well here goes!!i bought ma g60 7 years ago and loved it!!then a big end wentso i said'just do it'.so i did!!reconditioned the engine,supercharger done to stage 4,new g max suspension,new calipers the works.had it stored in ma mates barn lookin the part!!he takes it out th move bales,leaves her runin and next thing shes on fire!!destroyed!!fookin mice!!thats our postmortem anyway!!not good!!tried to upload photos but no joy!!must be a blackberry thing!!anyway i thought i wouldnt give up on them and bought another one!my mistake again.the chargers fooked!!am i cursed or should i percevere???

oh man feel bad for ya, since day one iv allways been paranoid about fire,percevere with it, learn from it, dont store a car in a mice ridden barn? and try out the vr6 instead? ill deffinatly bare that in mind when my cars being stored...

deffo keep that in mind mate!!if stored keep the bonet open for at least a good half hour!!allways attended!!gutted more than ma car is!!

i can imagine, iv been doing some welding on my car recently and the thought of a fire breaking out is so scary because most of the time its behind a panel so you cannot get to it! so how do you put out a fire you cant get to? starve it of oxygen i guess, but you know what i mean, got a fire extinguiser etc etc but its still prety scary for me anyways, i allways stay for an hour or so after my last weld to make sure theres no smoke still and even then im still paranoid!!

can never be to careful, but still think of all the places a mouse could get to in your car and you couldnt? was it an engine bay fire ?

yeh mate!!i will try and get photos up!!you wouldnt believe it when u see it!!how metal can burn like that is unbelievablle!!once aluminium starts there aint no stopping it!!couldnt get near it for fear of it exploding!fire brigade ripped the dash out coz the bulkhead was glowing!!my luck suck man!!
