bm55 10 Posted October 20, 2011 Having admired the VW Corrado for many years now I am considering buying a 1.8 or 2.0 model. I am hoping to look at one for sale locally at some point soon. Dark green (not sure of offical name), Lots of MOT/Tax It's a 1990 on a 'G' registration. and wondering if this is a particularly early model (it was registered early Jan '90). Hopefully I will be able to update should I decide to go ahead. Cheers
VR6 0 Posted October 20, 2011 Welcome to the forum! Yep that's fairly early - will be a 1.8.
bm55 10 Posted October 21, 2011 Thanks, it was registered at the very beginning of Jan. does that make it any more valuable? Yes, its a 1.8.
VR6 0 Posted October 21, 2011 Unfortunately not! The only cars that would benefit, in value terms, from being earlier would be the VR6 Campaigns or some of the original press cars (F reg from memory). Apart from that it's usually a case of 'the later the better'.
