yeh i was thinking about getting my front seats re-trimmed either over xmas or in the new year, then i seen these and just remembered how comfy they were in my old mk2, so was thinking get these re-trimmed instead of my recaros (nothing wrong with them at all just me being picky) and then bolting the mk2 recaros onto the corrado recaro bases so they sit nice and low.

I'd get these new ones and trim them. That way you have 2 sets worth X amount rather than just 1 set of seats worth not as much as 2 sets.

i have beige leather recaros already, but just wanted to get them re-trimmed but dont find them that supportive compared to the older mk2 golf recaros.

defo go for it.. they'll still be worth good money as a trimmed set of golf recaros once you're done with them and you'll keep the miles off your seats..
