G60 calipers carriers wanted to upgrade to 280mm on my 2.0 8v

Recommended Posts

I am looking for a set of G60 caliper carriers as this will allow me to fit my stock calipers onto 280mm discs

what do you have out there?

I have uprated the rear to Mk4 calipers and will need to do the fronts in the next 6 months

Thanks

Rob

Thanks for the quick comeback

To confirm that you have the following items

1. 4 stud 280mm discs with pads

2. G60 Caliper Carrier Brackets

I dont think that G60 pads will fit my calipers but the discs will be fine and the G60 carriers will allow me to fit my standard calipers

Confirm as above and let me know what money you are looking for

My fronts have finally worn out and the time has come to get this job done.

I am looking for a set of G60 280mm carriers only

I will use my standard callipers and update the discs with new 280mm stuff

Does anybody have to sell

Thanks

Rob

As far as I understood it, the calipers were the same on all the 4 pot engine models?

Well... same 54mm Piston size so you don't need to upgrade the MC but the discs and pads on the VR6 and G60 are a few mm wider so the calipers themselves are also wider.

You can get away with it using 16V pads and slightly worn discs but new calipers are not hugely expensive.
