Removing rear number plate plinth?

Recommended Posts

Am guessing its glued on?

All the top and middle of mine is loose and flapping about, had to take some plastic nuts off from inside.

But the bottom edge is stuck on solid, is there a special way to remove it? Already cracked it a little :(

heat gun or hairdryer to the bottom of it mate........ this will help to melt the glue & also make the plastic less brittle.

Bottom edge is taped/glued.

Good luck!

You probably won't get it off in one piece but use a lot of heat and gentle pressure.

Use some fishing line to cut through the double sided just wrap some between both hands and work your way through then just clean the glue off ! Youll get it off without even touching the number plate plinth
