Making Recaro seats move up and down??

Hi all,

 

I am trying to give my seats a make over, and I can't really make them move the seat up and down.

Before starting, nothing moved.

After cleaning with contact cleaner, then wd40, then sewing machine oil, them spray grease, I can make the back rests move just fine, and the seats up on both, but only a bit or little or veeery slowly down.

I've cleaned all cintacts too and they work fine.

There are some places that need to be lubed, so I did the above.

The snails are maybe sticking? so I tied to do the above cleaning plus lubeing, but maybe they need to be takes apart?

Can this be done and how?

 

For example I can get the grub screws off but cannot take the holders they sit in off, and therefore I cannot lift the whole drive out. It would also cause the bearing balls to come apart.

Sorry for the unsharp picture of the torsion like bar that holds the moving part on. And how to get that off?
