gurby28 10 Posted January 27, 2012 Hereby a more detailed posting about my 1994 Corrado: It's my first Corrado. It is one of the last Modelyear 1994 Corrado's, it's brilliant black LA9V and already ran almost 390.000km's. But the engine has been replaced at 250.000km's so running smoothly. The car does not have much options, only the usual default VR6 stuff and a sunroof and something on the back of the car to pull caravans and other stuff (how is this called :bonk:) Some pictures of the car: (some are taken with phone sorry for bad quality) pics from 2010 (year of buy) Some new parts placed in spring 2011 Some pics from summer 2011 Replacing rvs exhaust for a original one New - original - fuel lines have been placed after taking this picture... Currently, it needs a new thermostat (I think) because cooling system only reaches 70grades currently. Except for good maintenance I have one wish and that is to fix the damaged driver's seat after that much kilometers :-) I placed a topic for that, hopefully someone of you guys is willing to assyst? Anyway, there's always something to work on with a C :-))
aide 0 Posted January 27, 2012 welcome along, looks nice and tidy. like the radio, original? what is it?
gurby28 10 Posted January 27, 2012 On the 4th pictures you'll see the standard, basic VW Gamma radio. Later on i placed a Gamma radio with support for CD changer (also original - optional - for the 94 and 95 Corrado's), this radio can you see in the picture further below. I plugged a MP3/WMA usb/sd-card player into it. It makes the radio think it's an cd-changer but actually it plays the digital music files. It's working great, good sound quality! Bought them both on eBay. When buyin gthis Gamma radio with CD changer support, keep in mind there are multiple versions (blue or green light en Nokia active sound and normal speaker support).
