renson 0 Posted February 10, 2012 Long time since i have been on here but could really do with some help. This morning started the car without realising my wipers were still on, they went to move but were frozen to the screen. Now they won't work at all! Am i right in thinking that because the washer jets are working it isn't the fuse? What other things should i look for when i drag it in the workshop and start looking after work? hombre_paulo 0 Posted February 10, 2012 You will have popped the crank arm off. This links the motor to the wiper linkage. It sits on the drivers side under the scuttle cover. They were about £12 from vag when i replaced mine last year (did the exact same thing as you). Its best to replace it is likely to fall off again now that it has come off once. renson 0 Posted February 16, 2012 is it a c clip or something like that to hold it together. Got it all attatched now. whats the VAG part number?
