Pat_McCrotch 0 Posted February 25, 2012 Any quick drying stuff people can recommend that replicates OEM finish? (someone has previously jacked on the subframe mount at the front and broken the seal. I have used the halfrauds upol stuff but was unimpressed. The VW stuff (D003500) needs hardener otherwise you;ll be waiting forever for it to dry :(
RW1 0 Posted February 25, 2012 The genuine VW underseal D003500 on the Corrado doesn't need hardener, just time to dry. Its PVC and skins fairly quickly (3 - 4 hours) so you can apply car body paint colour by spraying fairly quickly as per factory. It may take a few weeks to fully set under the skin though. The car (daily) is back on the road within half a day. .
24V Renshaw 0 Posted February 25, 2012 Any idea how much it is?
RW1 0 Posted February 25, 2012 Not sure as I picked it up at £1 at a show. 1 Litre tins. Expect £25 - £30. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?56822-Underbody-stonechip-guard&highlight=D003500 Brush it on with a paint brush. It self settles and will drip if applied too thick. .
