help needed!!!

Recommended Posts

I need some help!

I have an issue with water and damp in the boot of my car!

I removed the boot carpet on the drivers side near the suspension strut and found water and mud :(

I then removed the central locking pump and found rust! and dirt, i cleaned it up and was left with this

What can i do now?

Cheers Rob

Yeah with the rust treatment.

But as above, grind it till there's no rust left.

sorry that should say rust in the strut!

Will the suspension strut need to be cut off and re welded?

I had another little look at this and it goes right round to the bottom of the strut inside the boot :(

Not looking forward to uncovering the damage :(
