Andy T 0 Posted March 28, 2004 I need to dismantle them for painting - Do the mechanisms come out of the plastic outer? The plastic seal/packing seems to be held in at one end by the mechanism - Will it come out? There doesnt seem to be any screws holding the mech in place??? I Assume the locking barrel will come out by removing the lock washer, and i'll have to drill out the pin holding the two halves of the door handles together....
